James Cochran Named 2006 Auctioneer of the Year

James G. Cochran, CEO and Head Auctioneer of Cochran Auctioneers and Associates LTD of Boonsboro, Maryland was named Auctioneer of the Year in the State of Maryland for 2006. Cochran received this award at the Annual Auctioneers Association of Maryland Convention held at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Resort in Cambridge, Maryland. Mr. Cochran has been in the auction business since 1972 and each year conducts over 200 auction sales both on site in the Mid Atlantic Region as well as from the 26 acre Cochran Auction Complex. Cochran Auctioneers employs 50+ full and part-time personnel and operate several divisions to include construction equipment, industrial equipment, real estate, antiques and personal property and more.
