Denise Shearin is the 2007 Women’s International Auctioneer Champion. A native of Maryland, she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Insurance from Howard University in Washington, D.C. As a first generation auctioneer, Denise graduated from the Texas Auction Academy in 2006 then found early success in the industry auctioning real estate. She was a finalist in the international auctioneer championship held in 2006 at the National Auctioneers Association’s Conference and Show. Her accomplishments continued that year when she earned second place in the Maryland bid calling championship. Denise is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, Auctioneers Association of Maryland, and Toastmasters International.
