The September Meeting was held at the Annapolis Elk's Lodge on September 13th. Members congratulated Jane Campbell-Chamblis, Denise Shearin, and Sam Grasso for their accomplishments at the NAA Conference and Show in San Diego. Billy Fitzgerald brought a photo collage from the 1986 AAM Convention to share with the members (click thumbnails below to see larger pictures. Denise Shearin shared her experiences as an IAC (International Auctioneering Competition) Contestant and taking first place this year in the women's division, Larry Forman spoke about hosting the upcoming fundraising auction and bid calling contest, Lynne Zink talked about the AAM Website winning 1st place in the NAA Marketing Competition, Jay Ruby shared details about the 50th Anniversary Celebration to be held at the 2008 Winter Conference, Glen Freeman talked about the upcoming Festival of Trees event, Bobby Campbell gave us a political update, and Alvin Massey introduced his son, John, as a prospective member. |
