AAM Raises $30,000 in 2005 for Make-A-Wish

George Hunt, Chair Person for the “Charity Effort” Committee reported at the 2005 December Meeting that AAM Members & Events raised $30,000 in 2005 for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Throughout the year, many members sold donated items at their auctions and all monies raised were donated to the cause. Also, the annual fundraising event was held at Associated Auctioneers & Appraisers gallery at the Howard County Fairgrounds on September 18, 2005. Auctioneers from all over Maryland brought items to sell at this fundraising auction.
